QC Chemist

The QC Chemist will be responsible for performing chemical and instrumental analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products while adhering to cGMP and GLP standards. This requires precision, technical expertise, and a strong focus on documentation and compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis of raw materials, intermediates, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and other laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and cGMP guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records and test reports.
• Conduct method validation, verification, and transfer activities.
• Monitor and investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results.
• Perform calibration and routine maintenance of analytical instruments.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and standards as required.
• Maintain proper documentation as per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Support stability studies and maintain stability data records.
• Ensure proper sampling, labeling, storage, and handling of materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the laboratory.
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE.
• Coordinate with QA and production teams for quality-related activities.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytical processes.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory consumables and reagents.
• Stay updated with pharmacopeial standards and analytical advancements.
• Assist in continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all activities.
• Contribute to maintaining high product quality and compliance standards.
