Chemists - Production

The Chemists – Production will be involved in day-to-day manufacturing activities, handling chemical processes, and ensuring product quality and consistency. This requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Execute pharmaceutical production processes as per approved SOPs and batch manufacturing records.
• Handle formulation, processing, and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
• Monitor critical process parameters to ensure consistency and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and production documentation.
• Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery efficiently.
• Coordinate with QA and QC teams for in-process checks and approvals.
• Identify and troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and good housekeeping in production areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in validation, calibration, and qualification activities.
• Ensure timely completion of production batches as per schedules.
• Maintain equipment logs and ensure routine maintenance coordination.
• Assist in technology transfer from R&D to production.
• Monitor and minimize wastage to improve operational efficiency.
• Support audits and ensure audit readiness for regulatory inspections.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for equipment upkeep.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished products.
• Stay updated with pharmaceutical manufacturing practices and advancements.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain discipline, accountability, and professionalism in the workplace.
