Accounts Officer

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities including bookkeeping, invoice processing, reconciliations, taxation support, financial reporting, and documentation management. The involves coordinating with internal departments, vendors, and auditors to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with statutory and organizational policies. The candidate should possess strong analytical, organizational, and numerical skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and financial record-keeping activities.
• Maintain accurate ledgers, journal entries, vouchers, and accounting documentation.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense entries efficiently.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions regularly.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and taxation activities.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding payment and accounting matters.
• Verify bills, expense claims, and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records and reports.
• Support audit activities by preparing and providing required financial data and documents.
• Monitor outstanding payments and support follow-up and collection activities.
• Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of financial information and records.
• Maintain accounting data in ERP/accounting software systems accurately.
• Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursement coordination when required.
• Identify discrepancies in accounting records and support corrective actions.
• Prepare financial MIS reports, expense summaries, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense monitoring activities.
• Stay updated with accounting standards, taxation regulations, and financial best practices.
