Dialysis Technician

The Dialysis Technician will support hemodialysis procedures, dialysis machine preparation, patient monitoring, equipment handling, infection control, and dialysis documentation at Samanvay Hospitals, Vadodara. This requires Diploma or B.Sc in Dialysis Technology qualification.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machines, dialyzers, tubing, RO water checks, and dialysis consumables before procedure.
• Assist in hemodialysis procedure under nephrologist or senior technician guidance.
• Monitor patient vitals, access site, dialysis parameters, complications, and treatment response.
• Support cannulation, priming, disinfection, and machine setup as per dialysis protocol.
• Maintain dialysis records, machine logs, patient charts, and treatment documentation.
• Coordinate with nephrologists, nurses, biomedical, pharmacy, laboratory, and patient care teams.
• Follow infection control, PPE, biomedical waste, and dialysis safety standards.
• Report machine alarms, patient discomfort, abnormal vitals, or complications promptly.
• Clean and disinfect dialysis machines, beds, and dialysis area after procedure.
• Maintain dialysis consumables, emergency medicines, and equipment readiness.
• Support safe patient movement before and after dialysis.
• Ensure safe, hygienic, and patient-centered dialysis support.
