Cashless Staff

Cashless Staff is responsible for managing cashless insurance, TPA coordination, pre-authorization, documentation, claim processing, and patient billing support. The requires knowledge of health insurance procedures, hospital billing, cashless approval workflows, documentation accuracy, and communication with patients and insurance partners. Cashless Staff ensures smooth insurance processing and timely support for patients seeking cashless hospitalization services.

Role & Responsibilities

• Handle cashless insurance and TPA-related processes for eligible patients.
• Collect, verify, and organize required patient documents for cashless approval.
• Prepare and submit pre-authorization forms to insurance companies or TPA portals.
• Coordinate with doctors for diagnosis, treatment details, estimation, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate with insurance companies, TPAs, patients, relatives, and hospital billing teams.
• Track cashless approval status and update patients or relatives in a timely manner.
• Support admission, billing, discharge, and final claim documentation for cashless cases.
• Verify policy details, coverage limits, exclusions, room eligibility, and approval conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of cashless files, approvals, queries, denials, and claim status.
• Respond to insurance queries and arrange additional documents whenever required.
• Coordinate with billing department for estimates, interim bills, final bills, and settlement details.
• Explain cashless process, pending documents, approval timelines, and patient payment responsibilities clearly.
• Ensure all claim documents are complete, accurate, and submitted within required timelines.
• Follow hospital policies, insurance guidelines, confidentiality rules, and compliance standards.
• Maintain professional coordination with TPA desk, accounts, medical records, consultants, and administration teams.
