S.R/Consultant - Emergency Medicine

The S.R/Consultant – Emergency Medicine will play a vital in delivering immediate and life-saving care, ensuring efficient triage, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with acute medical and traumatic emergencies.
• Provide immediate stabilization and life-saving interventions for critically ill patients.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of emergency conditions including cardiac events, trauma, respiratory distress, and neurological emergencies.
• Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, CPR, central line insertion, wound suturing, and defibrillation.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including blood investigations, imaging, and ECGs.
• Coordinate with specialists and other departments for further management and admissions.
• Monitor patient condition and response to treatment, adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Ensure efficient patient flow and timely decision-making in a high-pressure environment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding condition and treatment plans.
• Handle medico-legal cases with appropriate documentation and compliance.
