Job Description
The Staff Nurse will be responsible for deliveringect nursing care, monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and assisting doctors in clinical procedures. The requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centric approach while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients as per prescribed treatment plans.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments asected by doctors.
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing records and documentation.
- Ensure patient comfort, hygiene, and nutritional needs are met.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries.
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition promptly.
- Follow infection control practices and safety protocols strictly.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for patient care.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home care.
- Handle emergency situations and provide immediate nursing support.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Follow biomedical waste management protocols.
- Participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, SOPs, and NABH standards.
- Maintain professionalism, empathy, and patient confidentiality.
- Participate in training programs and continuous skill development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior staff or management.
