Radiologist

The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting medical images, diagnosing diseases and conditions, and collaborating with clinical teams to guide patient treatment. The requires expertise in various imaging modalities, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret and report imaging studies including X-ray, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, and other modalities.

• Perform and supervise imaging procedures when required.

• Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
• Coordinate with referring physicians to understand clinical requirements.
• Provide expert opinions and second readings when required.
• Participate in interventional radiology procedures if applicable.
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting systems.
• Ensure proper functioning and quality control of imaging equipment.
• Participate in audits, quality checks, and accreditation processes.

• Communicate findings effectively to clinicians and healthcare teams.

• Stay updated with advancements in radiology and imaging technology.

• Handle emergency imaging and urgent reporting efficiently.
• Support training and guidance for junior staff and technicians.
