Trauma Surgeon

Trauma Surgeon is responsible for managing trauma, emergency surgical cases, acute injuries, surgical stabilization, and critical patient care. The requires MS or DNB Surgery with trauma surgery experience and 5 to 8 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of trauma surgery, emergency surgery, surgical care, patient management, and multidisciplinary emergency coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assess and manage trauma patients in emergency and surgical settings.
• Perform trauma-related surgical interventions as per clinical need.
• Provide immediate surgical care for acute injuries and emergency cases.
• Coordinate with emergency, ICU, anesthesia, radiology, and nursing teams.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative trauma surgery patients.
• Review imaging, laboratory reports, and clinical findings.
• Support resuscitation, stabilization, and surgical decision-making.
• Maintain accurate surgical notes, consent forms, and clinical documentation.
• Counsel patients and families regarding surgery, risks, and recovery.
• Follow surgical safety, infection control, and patient care protocols.
• Participate in trauma audits, case reviews, and quality improvement.
• Deliver timely, ethical, and patient-centered trauma surgical care.
