Job Description
Operator - Manufacturing is responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing and packing equipment while ensuring compliance with cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and safety standards. The involves machine operation, equipment cleaning, documentation management, quality monitoring, and maintaining smooth production activities within the manufacturing area.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing and packing machines as per approved SOPs and production requirements.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines, safety standards, and departmental procedures.
- Perform cleaning and routine operation of packing machines as per SOP requirements.
- Monitor environmental conditions within the manufacturing and packing areas.
- Maintain online documentation, production records, and operational logs accurately.
- Ensure proper labeling of equipment, products, and manufacturing areas.
- Follow gowning and de-gowning procedures as per company guidelines and SOPs.
- Conduct daily equipment cleaning and ensure machine readiness before operations.
- Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities or breakdowns promptly.
- Support proactive maintenance activities and coordinate with engineering teams when required.
- Ensure product quality and productivity targets are achieved during manufacturing operations.
- Follow Batch Production Records (BPR) and written procedures during manufacturing activities.
- Maintain workplace discipline, cleanliness, and safe working practices at all times.
- Ensure zero accident and zero tolerance practices within the production area.
- Coordinate with supervisors and production teams for smooth shift operations and batch execution.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives related to manufacturing activities.
- Perform additional manufacturing and operational responsibilities assigned by supervisors or management.
