Senior Research Associate - Sales and Marketing

Senior Research Associate - Sales and Marketing is responsible for supporting research and process development activities related to API and pharmaceutical product development while coordinating with internal teams for process optimization, technology transfer, and project execution. The involves conducting laboratory experiments, developing cost-effective and compliant chemical processes, maintaining technical documentation, and supporting process scale-up and validation activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop cost-effective and robust chemical processes for API and pharmaceutical product development.
• Conduct laboratory research and process development activities for intermediates and finished products.
• Evaluate and verify proof of concept for selected synthetic routes and process methodologies.
• Develop processes with minimal environmental hazards while maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Plan, execute, and document laboratory experiments as per approved protocols.
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, analytical records, and research documentation.
• Prepare analytical method validation protocols, reports, and supporting technical documents.
• Support process optimization, validation, and scale-up activities from laboratory to plant level.
• Prepare and maintain standard samples for KSM, intermediates, impurities, and finished products.
• Perform characterization and identification of finished products, intermediates, and impurities.
• Coordinate technology transfer activities from R&D laboratory to manufacturing plant operations.
• Support demonstration and validation activities at both laboratory and plant scale.
• Initiate and maintain change control documentation and design specifications as required.
• Ensure compliance with CGMP, GLP, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines during all research activities.
• Maintain calibration and operational records of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical and analytical issues during routine laboratory operations.
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, quality control, and other departments for project execution.
• Participate in research discussions, process improvement initiatives, and technical reviews.
• Stay updated with advancements in pharmaceutical research, process chemistry, and analytical techniques.
• Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality in all research and development activities.
