Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering quality nursing care across ward, ICU, emergency, cardiac, and critical care departments. The requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 0 to 5 years of experience depending on department requirement. Candidates should have strong knowledge of nursing care, patient assessment, critical care, cardiac nursing, emergency care, and clinical documentation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to admitted and emergency patients.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, patient condition, and treatment response.
- Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments safely.
- Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergency care.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, and patient records.
- Support ICU, critical care, emergency, and cardiac nursing activities.
- Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, transfers, and discharge.
- Follow infection control, hygiene, and patient safety protocols.
- Educate patients and family members about care instructions.
- Report patient condition changes to doctors promptly.
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and support departments.
- Maintain ward supplies, equipment, and nursing station readiness.
- Ensure proper shift handover and continuity of care.
- Follow hospital nursing policies and quality standards.
- Deliver compassionate, ethical, and patient-focused nursing service.
