The Associate Professor - Physician Assistant, Associate will supervise teaching, clinical training, student mentoring, curriculum delivery, academic evaluation, and department coordination at Velammal Group Institutions, Madurai. This requires M.Sc / B.Sc Physician Assistant or Physician Associate qualification with 1–6 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead academic teaching in physician assistant and physician associate subjects.
• Guide students in patient assessment, clinical documentation, doctor support, and healthcare coordination.
• Supervise clinical postings, case discussions, practical learning, and student skill development.
• Prepare teaching schedules, assessment plans, practical modules, and academic reports.
• Mentor faculty members and students for better academic and clinical performance.
• Monitor student attendance, practical records, internal assessments, and academic progress.
• Coordinate with hospital departments for clinical exposure and student training.
• Support curriculum planning, academic quality improvement, workshops, and seminars.
• Maintain academic documentation and departmental compliance records.
• Ensure professional, disciplined, and patient-care-focused academic training.
