Formulation & Development - Chemist

The Formulation & Development – Chemist will be responsible for developing and optimizing pharmaceutical formulations in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The involves conducting trials, preparing development documentation, supporting technology transfer activities, and coordinating with analytical, production, and regulatory teams. The candidate will contribute to new product development, process improvement, and successful scale-up activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize pharmaceutical formulations for new and existing products.
• Conduct formulation trials, experiments, and laboratory-scale development activities.
• Prepare and maintain formulation development records, protocols, and reports.
• Support scale-up, exhibit batch, and technology transfer activities.
• Coordinate with analytical development, QA, QC, and production teams for project execution.
• Evaluate raw materials, excipients, and packaging compatibility for formulation development.
• Conduct stability studies and monitor product performance during development stages.
• Troubleshoot formulation and process-related issues during product development.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in preparation of regulatory documents and technical dossiers.
• Perform literature review and research for product improvement and innovation.
• Participate in process validation and optimization activities.
• Maintain laboratory instruments, equipment, and work areas in proper condition.
• Ensure accurate documentation and data integrity for all development activities.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores for development material requirements.
• Support investigation of development failures and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities.
