Junior Dietitian

The Junior Dietitian will assist in nutrition counselling, diet chart preparation, patient diet follow-up, food service coordination, documentation, and clinical diet support at Shree Medishine Hospital, Raipur. This requires B.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics or Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics qualification.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist senior dietitian in assessing patient diet needs and preparing diet plans.
• Support diet counselling for patients with diabetes, obesity, cardiac, renal, pregnancy, pediatric, and general nutrition needs.
• Prepare basic diet charts under guidance as per diagnosis and doctor advice.
• Coordinate with nursing, kitchen, food service, doctors, and patient care teams for diet delivery.
• Monitor patient food intake, diet tolerance, and feedback from patients or attendants.
• Help maintain diet records, counselling notes, patient follow-up sheets, and nutrition documentation.
• Educate patients on healthy food choices, portion control, hydration, and basic diet instructions.
• Support inpatient meal planning and OPD diet counselling activities.
• Ensure diet instructions are communicated clearly to kitchen and ward teams.
• Follow food hygiene, patient confidentiality, and hospital nutrition service standards.
• Escalate complex diet cases or patient concerns to senior dietitian.
• Deliver supportive, practical, and patient-friendly nutrition care.
