MRD Executive

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage patient medical records in both physical and electronic formats.
• Ensure accurate filing, indexing, and retrieval of medical records.
• Verify completeness and correctness of patient records and documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information as per hospital policies.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and departments for timely record updates.
• Handle record requests from patients, doctors, and authorized personnel.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for medical records.
• Manage discharge summaries, reports, and documentation for record closure.
• Maintain MRD registers, logs, and tracking systems.
• Support audits and inspections by providing required records and documentation.
• Assist in digitization and implementation of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Track and manage record movement within the hospital.
• Ensure proper storage and archiving of old and inactive records.
• Address discrepancies and missing information in patient records.
• Prepare MIS reports related to medical records and documentation.
• Follow SOPs and maintain quality standards in record management.
