Radiology - Technician is responsible for supporting diagnostic imaging services such as CT scan, ultrasound, ECG, colour Doppler, and other radiology procedures. The requires diploma or degree in Radiology or Imaging Technology with 2 to 7 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of radiology equipment handling, patient positioning, imaging safety, anatomy, report coordination, and basic equipment care.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures as per doctor instructions.
- Assist in CT scan, ultrasound, ECG, colour Doppler, and related diagnostic workflows.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain basic instructions.
- Position patients correctly to capture accurate diagnostic images.
- Operate radiology equipment safely as per approved protocols.
- Verify patient identity and procedure details before imaging.
- Follow radiation safety and patient protection guidelines.
- Maintain procedure logs, imaging records, and patient documentation.
- Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses, and front office staff.
- Support emergency and priority imaging requirements when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of radiology rooms and equipment.
- Report equipment repair or maintenance issues to biomedical teams.
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during procedures.
- Follow infection control and hospital radiology department policies.
- Deliver accurate, safe, and patient-focused diagnostic imaging support.
