Senior Executive - Electrical

The Senior Executive – Electrical will oversee electrical maintenance and operations in the plant, ensuring smooth functioning of all electrical equipment and utilities. The involves handling shift duties, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate will also ensure adherence to cGMP, EHS, and safety requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handle shift activities for electrical operations and maintenance.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and smooth functioning of plant electrical systems.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Monitor performance of transformers, panels, motors, drives, and switchgear.
• Maintain electrical systems such as DG sets, UPS, MCC panels, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams for smooth plant operations.
• Supervise technicians and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of electrical instruments.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
• entify opportunities for energy saving and efficiency improvement.
• Ensure adherence to EHS policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Report incidents, near misses, and electrical hazards to management.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, servicing, and procurement of electrical components.
• Maintain inventory of critical electrical spares and consumables.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Assist in plant modifications, upgrades, and automation projects.
