Senior Executive - Mechanical

The Senior Executive – Mechanical will oversee operation and maintenance of mechanical systems in the process plant and utilities. The involves handling shift duties, troubleshooting equipment issues, executing maintenance plans, and ensuring minimal downtime. The candidate will also focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handle shift duties for process plant and utility operations.
• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Perform routine inspection, preventive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Monitor performance of pumps, compressors, reactors, pipelines, and other mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams for uninterrupted plant operations.
• Supervise and guide technicians and maintenance staff during shifts.
• Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and upkeep of mechanical equipment.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
• entify opportunities for improving equipment efficiency and reducing downtime.
• Ensure adherence to EHS policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Report incidents, near misses, and equipment failures to management.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, servicing, and spare parts procurement.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and ensure availability for critical equipment.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities related to engineering operations.
• Implement energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives in plant operations.
• Assist in modification, upgradation, and continuous improvement projects.
