Vaccine Counsellor

The Vaccine Counsellor will be responsible for educating patients and parents about vaccination schedules, benefits, safety, documentation, and follow-up requirements. This requires nursing knowledge, counselling skills, patient-friendly communication, and healthcare coordination ability. The candidate will support vaccination awareness, appointment coordination, patient confidence, and smooth immunization workflow.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Counsel patients and parents about vaccine schedules and importance.
• Explain vaccine benefits, timing, precautions, and follow-up requirements.
• Verify patient details, age, eligibility, and vaccination history.
• Coordinate vaccination appointments, reminders, and documentation.
• Support doctors and nurses in vaccination service workflow.
• Address patient doubts and concerns with empathy and clarity.
• Maintain vaccination records, consent details, and follow-up registers.
• Guide patients on post-vaccination care and warning signs.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, nursing, billing, and front office teams.
• Ensure ethical counselling without false claims or unauthorized medical advice.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and immunization protocols.
• Support awareness activities for preventive healthcare services.
