Business Development Trainee / Junior Executive

The Business Development Trainee / Junior Executive will assist in managing existing clients,entifying new prospects, and supporting the sales process from inquiry to order closure. This is role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in business development within the laboratory or analytical services industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers while promoting new technologies and services.
• Identify and approach potential customers to expand the client base.
• Communicate with clients via emails, phone calls, and virtual meetings professionally.
• Generate inquiries and convert them into business opportunities and confirmed orders.
• Prepare and share price quotations with clients and assist in negotiations.
• Support senior team members in closing deals and achieving sales targets.
• Travel to meet clients, build relationships, and understand their requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to address customer queries and concerns.
• Follow up with internal teams to ensure timely completion of client projects.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, inquiries, and sales activities.
• Monitor client credit limits and support in ensuring timely collection of payments.
• Assist in maintaining and updating customer databases and CRM systems.
• Provide basic information about testing services and capabilities to clients.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt responses and support.
• Track and report sales activities, leads, and conversions to management.
• Participate in market research and competitor analysis activities.
• Support marketing initiatives, campaigns, and client outreach programs.
• Develop strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
