Job Description
Care Hospitals is seeking a logistics professional to oversee inventory planning, material coordination, and supply chain efficiency. The involves managing stock across central and sub-stores, ensuring timely availability of critical materials, and supporting operational continuity through effective planning and reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement and distribution of pharmacy, surgical, and lab materials
- Monitor inventory levels across stores and ensure availability of fast-moving and critical items
- Maintain optimal stock levels, including control of slow-moving and high-value inventory
- Track expiry of materials and initiate timely actions to minimize losses
- Review indents and coordinate with the purchase team for timely procurement
- Analyze stock movement, shortages, and daily operational gaps
- Prepare MIS reports and maintain accurate documentation of logistics activities
- Conduct regular coordination meetings with internal teams and stakeholders
- Communicate critical inventory issues and pending requirements to management
- Ensure smooth logistics operations through effective planning and cross-functional coordination
