Senior Registrar - Anesthesia

Senior Registrar - Anesthesia is responsible for perioperative anesthesia support, patient assessment, operation theatre assistance, airway management, and post-operative monitoring. The requires MD or DNB Anesthesia qualification with 3 to 4 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of anesthesia, patient assessment, surgery support, monitoring, emergency care, and OT safety protocols.

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia checkups and fitness assessments.
• Assist in planning suitable anesthesia techniques for surgical patients.
• Administer or support general, regional, spinal, and local anesthesia.
• Monitor patient vitals, airway, oxygenation, and anesthesia response.
• Support airway management, intubation, ventilation, and emergency care.
• Coordinate with surgeons, OT nurses, ICU, and recovery room teams.
• Monitor patients during post-operative recovery.
• Maintain anesthesia records, consent forms, and procedure documentation.
• Ensure anesthesia equipment, drugs, and emergency supplies are ready.
• Follow OT safety, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Support critical care and resuscitation activities when required.
• Deliver safe, disciplined, and patient-focused anesthesia care.
