Registrar - Dermatology

Registrar - Dermatology is responsible for supporting dermatology OPD, IPD referrals, dermatological condition management, emergency skin care, minor procedures, and clinical documentation. The requires MD or DNB Dermatology qualification with 0 to 2 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of dermatology, OPD/IPD care, skin diseases, emergency settings, and patient counselling.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assess and manage dermatology OPD and referred patients.
• Diagnose skin, hair, nail, allergy, and infection-related conditions.
• Support treatment of dermatological emergencies and inpatient referrals.
• Assist in minor dermatology procedures and clinical interventions.
• Review laboratory, biopsy, and dermatology-related investigation reports.
• Maintain accurate prescriptions, clinical notes, and procedure records.
• Counsel patients about medication, skin care, and follow-up plans.
• Coordinate with medicine, pathology, microbiology, and nursing teams.
• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Participate in case discussions, clinical rounds, and academic activities.
• Support departmental documentation and patient record maintenance.
• Deliver ethical, confidential, and patient-friendly dermatology care.
