Senior Registrar - Dermatology

Senior Registrar - Dermatology is responsible for managing dermatology patients, supporting senior consultants, handling OPD/IPD dermatological conditions, emergency skin care, procedures, and academic coordination. The requires MD or DNB Dermatology qualification with 0 to 2 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of dermatology, clinical assessment, dermatological procedures, patient counselling, and documentation.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage dermatology OPD, IPD, and emergency skin-related cases.
• Diagnose and treat common and complex skin, hair, nail, and allergy conditions.
• Assist consultants in dermatology procedures and treatment planning.
• Support management of dermatological emergencies and inpatient referrals.
• Perform or assist in biopsy, cautery, cryotherapy, and dressing procedures.
• Review investigation reports and update treatment plans.
• Maintain prescriptions, procedure notes, and patient records accurately.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment, precautions, and follow-up.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary departments when required.
• Participate in rounds, case presentations, and academic activities.
• Guide junior doctors or trainees when assigned.
• Deliver ethical, safe, and patient-centered dermatology care.
