Manager Operations

The Manager – Operations will be responsible forecting, coordinating, and controlling all hospital operational activities in alignment with organizational policies and objectives. The includes managing clinical and non-clinical departments, ensuring smooth hospital functioning, optimizing resources, improving patient experience, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day hospital operations across all departments.
• Coordinate activities between clinical, nursing, and non-clinical departments for smooth functioning.
• Ensure implementation of hospital policies, goals, and operational procedures.
• Supervise key departments including Consultants, Medical Officers, Nursing, OT, ICU, Emergency, OPD, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, and Billing.
• Monitor performance of support services such as Medical Records, Biomedical Waste Management, Ambulance, TPA, and Blood Bank.
• Ensure efficient utilization and maintenance of hospital equipment and infrastructure.
• Manage general administration activities and ensure operational efficiency across the hospital.
• Address patient concerns, grievances, and service-related issues promptly.
• Ensure high standards of patient safety, care quality, and service delivery.
• Coordinate with purchase and maintenance teams for smooth facility operations.
• Monitor compliance with hospital protocols, NABH standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze operational processes and implement improvements for efficiency and cost control.
• Supervise staffing needs and ensure adequate workforce allocation across departments.
• Monitor key operational metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination among all hospital units.
• Oversee emergency preparedness and crisis management protocols.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction programs.
• Conduct regular operational audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all hospital activities.
• Maintain a patient-centric approach in all operational decisions.
• Report operational performance and challenges to senior leadership regularly.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, safety regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Drive overall hospital efficiency, productivity, and service excellence.
