Job Description

Compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse – Oncology responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, including chemotherapy, radiation support, and palliative care. Experienced in patient monitoring, symptom management, medication administration, and emotional support. Adept at working in multidisciplinary oncology teams to ensure safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care while maintaining strict adherence to clinical protocols, infection control, and oncology nursing standards.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology medications as per protocols.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and manage side effects and complications.
  • Assist physicians in treatment planning and clinical procedures related to cancer care.
  • Maintain accurate nursing records, treatment documentation, and patient charts.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects, and self-care practices.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and caregivers.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control and oncology safety protocols.
  • Monitor vital signs and report critical changes in patient conditions promptly.
  • Coordinate with oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals for care planning.
  • Assist in pain management and palliative care services for terminally ill patients.
  • Manage chemotherapy preparation, handling, and safe administration practices.
  • Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Support emergency management of oncology-related complications.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits, and oncology nursing education programs.
