Anaesthetist Job in Noida at Apollo Hospitals

Job Description

Experienced Anaesthetist responsible for administering anaesthesia and providing perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Skilled in patient evaluation, anaesthetic planning, airway management, and intraoperative monitoring. Adept at ensuring patient safety before, during, and after procedures while managing pain control, critical care support, and emergency interventions in coordination with surgical and multidisciplinary teams.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assess patients pre-operatively to determine anaesthesia suitability and risk factors.
  • Develop and implement anaesthetic plans based on surgical and patient requirements.
  • Administer general, regional, and local anaesthesia safely and effectively.
  • Monitor vital signs and patient condition continuously during surgical procedures.
  • Manage airway, ventilation, and hemodynamic stability during anaesthesia.
  • Provide pain management strategies for perioperative and postoperative care.
  • Respond to intraoperative emergencies and critical situations promptly.
  • Coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and OT staff for smooth surgical workflow.
  • Maintain accurate anaesthesia records, drug administration logs, and clinical documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to anaesthesia protocols, safety standards, and hospital guidelines.
  • Supervise recovery of patients in post-anaesthesia care units (PACU).
  • Evaluate and manage high-risk patients in ICU and emergency settings when required.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of anaesthetic drugs and equipment.
  • Participate in pre-operative counselling and patient/family education.
  • Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and medical research activities.
