Job Description
The TPA Executive will be responsible for handling end-to-end insurance and TPA processes including cashless approvals, documentation verification, claim management, and coordination with insurance companies. The requires strong communication skills, accuracy in documentation, and knowledge of healthcare insurance processes to ensure timely and efficient claim settlements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Process cashless insurance approvals for patients in coordination with TPAs and insurers.
- Coordinate effectively with multiple TPA companies and insurance providers.
- Verify insurance documents, policy details, and patient eligibility.
- Handle claim submissions, follow-ups, and settlement processes.
- Ensure timely processing of pre-authorization and final approvals.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance cases and claim statuses.
- Communicate with patients regarding insurance coverage, approvals, and requirements.
- Assist patients with insurance-related counseling and guidance.
- Coordinate with billing and medical departments for claim documentation.
- Track pending claims and ensure timely closure of cases.
- Handle rejection cases and re-submission of claims where required.
- Ensure compliance with insurance policies, hospital protocols, and regulatory norms.
- Maintain updated knowledge of insurance guidelines and TPA processes.
- Prepare reports on insurance approvals, denials, and settlements.
- Coordinate for discharge clearance in insured cases.
- Resolve queries from patients, insurance companies, and internal departments.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of claim documentation.
- Support audit requirements related to insurance and billing processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
- Contribute to improving turnaround time for insurance processing and patient satisfaction.
