Store & Purchase Executive

Horizon Prime Hospital is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Store & Purchase Executive to manage procurement, inventory control, and store operations efficiently while ensuring uninterrupted availability of medical and non-medical supplies. The involves vendor coordination, stock management, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of medical and non-medical supplies.
• entify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for cost-effective purchasing.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Generate purchase orders and ensure timely procurement as per requirements.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
• Monitor stock consumption and plan reordering based on usage trends.
• Handle receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials.
• Ensure proper documentation for all procurement and inventory transactions.
• Maintain accurate stock records in inventory management systems/ERP.
• Coordinate with various departments to understand material requirements.
• Ensure quality checks and compliance with specifications for purchased items.
• Manage inventory of critical medical items, consumables, and equipment.
• Track expiry dates of medicines and consumables and ensure timely disposal or replacement.
• Conduct regular stock audits, physical verification, and reconciliation.
• Ensure proper storage conditions as per product requirements.
• Maintain records of vendors, contracts, and purchase history.
• Coordinate with finance team for invoice verification and payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.
• Handle returns, replacements, and discrepancies with suppliers.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in store areas.
• Support emergency procurement requirements as needed.
• Prepare MIS reports related to inventory, procurement, and vendor performance.
• Drive cost optimization and efficiency in procurement processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for store and purchase operations.
