Senior Resident in Neurology

Job Description:

U. N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre is seeking for a Senior Resident in Neurology to join its clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for providing specialized neurological care, managing patients, and supporting clinical and academic activities within the department.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage patients with neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, neuropathies, and neurodegenerative diseases
• Conduct detailed neurological examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care, including emergency neurological services
• Assist in critical care management of neurological patients in ICU settings
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as EEG, EMG, NCV, CT, and MRI
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and clinical meetings
• Guide and support junior residents, interns, and medical staff
• Engage in academic activities including seminars, case presentations, and research work
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards
