Eye Camp Coordinator

The Eye Camp Coordinator will organize and coordinate eye camps, community outreach activities, patient screening support, camp documentation, referral coordination, and patient follow-up at Velammal Group Institutions, Madurai. This requires any degree qualification with 3–5 years of experience in healthcare camp coordination or ophthalmology outreach.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate eye camps, screening programs, and community outreach activities.
• Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, nursing, marketing, administration, and local organizers.
• Arrange camp venue, permissions, patient flow, registration, equipment, and logistics.
• Maintain camp records, patient lists, screening details, referrals, and follow-up trackers.
• Guide patients for consultation, investigation, surgery advice, and hospital follow-up.
• Support awareness activities related to eye health, cataract screening, and preventive care.
• Coordinate transportation, patient counselling, and referral conversion when required.
• Prepare daily camp reports, attendance, outcome summaries, and management updates.
• Ensure smooth communication with community leaders, NGOs, schools, and local partners.
• Maintain patient privacy, respectful communication, and service quality during camps.
