Assistant Manager- Costing

Macleods Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Costing to oversee cost accounting functions and ensure accurate financial insights for business decision-making. The ideal candidate will manage costing processes in SAP, support cross-functional coordination, and drive profitability analysis across operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage actual costing processes within SAP to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting
• Maintain and update standard costing structures in SAP, ensuring alignment with production and financial data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance (FI), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Warehouse Management (WM) for seamless cost flow
• Handle SAP CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) reporting to evaluate business performance and margins
• Develop and customize financial and costing reports as per management and business requirements
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant SAP data, reports, and documentation
• Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
• Participate in cross-functional discussions to align costing strategies with operational objectives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Continuously improve costing processes and reporting mechanisms for better decision support
