Resident Medical Officer

Wockhard Hospitals is seeking a Resident Medical Officer to manage patient care from admission to discharge, assist consultants in clinical decision-making, and ensure accurate documentation. The involves handling emergencies, monitoring patient progress, and coordinating with nursing and diagnostic teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Attend and assess newly admitted patients promptly, including history taking and examination
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, case sheets, and treatment plans
• Coordinate with consultants and implement medical orders effectively
• Conduct regular patient rounds and monitor clinical progress
• Follow up on investigations, review reports, and update treatment plans accordingly
• Ensure execution of pre-operative preparations and necessary documentation
• Communicate patient status and updates to consultants and healthcare teams
• Address patient concerns and provide reassurance during treatment
• Guide nursing staff on treatment protocols and clinical instructions
• Utilize hospital information systems for documentation and reporting
