Aadicura Superspeciality Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse – ICU to provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. The involves continuous patient monitoring, assisting in critical procedures, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards in the ICU.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor vital signs, patient condition, and report any abnormalities promptly.
- Assist doctors in critical procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and resuscitation.
- Manage and operate ICU equipment including ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.
- Ensure adherence to infection control practices and ICU protocols.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care to patients.
- Support patients and their families with care, guidance, and emotional support.
- Ensure proper hygiene, safety, and comfort of patients.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare teams for effective patient management.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in emergency response and code blue situations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of ICU wards and equipment.
- Assist in stock management of medicines and consumables in the ICU.
- Participate in training, skill development, and continuous learning programs.
