Quality Control

The Quality Control (Physicochemical) professional will perform analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various physicochemical techniques. The involves ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP standards, maintaining laboratory documentation, and supporting validation and audit processes. The candidate will collaborate with QA and production teams to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory adherence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform physicochemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as per specifications.
• Conduct tests such as pH, viscosity, moisture content, dissolution, assay, and related parameters.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments like HPLC, UV spectrophotometer, FTIR, and other lab equipment.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and regulatory standards in all testing activities.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, analytical reports, and documentation.
• Perform calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Handle out-of-specification (OOS) results and assist in investigation and root cause analysis.
• Support method validation, method transfer, and stability study activities.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and samples.
• Monitor environmental conditions within the laboratory as per required standards.
• Coordinate with QA and production teams for resolving quality-related issues.
• Participate in internal audits and assist during external regulatory inspections.
• Maintain inventory of reagents, chemicals, and laboratory consumables.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for laboratory efficiency and compliance.
