Assistant Executive - Insurance Department is responsible for handling insurance-related processes including cashless and reimbursement cases for patients. The involves coordinating with insurance companies and TPAs, managing pre-authorization and claims processing, verifying policy details, and ensuring smooth settlement of insurance cases in compliance with hospital and insurance guidelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Handle cashless and reimbursement insurance cases for patients efficiently.
• Coordinate with TPAs (Third Party Administrators) and insurance companies for approvals and claims.
• Process pre-authorization requests and ensure timely approvals for patient treatments.
• Verify insurance eligibility, policy details, and coverage limits before processing claims.
• Ensure accurate documentation and submission of insurance claims as per requirements.
• Follow up on pending approvals, queries, and claim settlements with insurers and TPAs.
• Assist patients in understanding insurance procedures, documentation, and claim requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all insurance cases, approvals, and billing details.
• Coordinate with billing, reception, doctors, OT, and other departments for claim processing.
• Resolve issues related to claim rejections, delays, and documentation discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, insurance guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Track insurance case status and maintain updated records in hospital systems.
• Support patients and their families during admission and discharge insurance processes.
• Prepare insurance-related reports, MIS data, and claim summaries for management.
