Data Entry Operator

Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurate entry, updating, and maintenance of purchase, store, and inventory-related data in the hospital system. The involves managing records of OT consumables, surgical items, medicines, and instruments, ensuring proper documentation, and supporting smooth inventory and procurement operations within the hospital.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Enter purchase, store, and inventory data accurately into hospital software systems.
• Maintain records of OT consumables, surgical items, lenses, medicines, and instruments.
• Update daily inward and outward stock entries in the system.
• Assist in preparing purchase indents, Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and issue slips.
• Maintain vendor bills, invoices, and supporting procurement documents properly.
• Coordinate with OT staff, store in-charge, and purchase department for material requirements.
• Track minimum stock levels and alert concerned departments for timely replenishment.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of store and purchase records.
• Verify data accuracy and correct discrepancies in inventory records.
• Support audit requirements by maintaining organized and updated documentation.
• Follow hospital policies, NABH standards, and confidentiality guidelines.
• Assist in reconciliation of stock entries with physical inventory checks.
• Maintain digital and physical records in an organized and systematic manner.
• Support smooth coordination between procurement, store, and OT departments.
• Perform additional data entry and inventory management responsibilities assigned by supervisors or management.
