IP Billing Manager

The IP Billing Manager will be responsible for managing inpatient billing operations, package billing, insurance coordination, discharge billing, payment follow-up, team supervision, and billing accuracy. This requires Any Graduate or MBA qualification, healthcare billing knowledge, leadership skills, insurance process understanding, and strong coordination with clinical, finance, TPA, and administration teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage complete inpatient billing process from admission to discharge.
• Verify patient billing details, tariffs, packages, services, and approvals.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, lab, radiology, OT, ICU, and ward teams for charge capture.
• Supervise billing executives and ensure timely bill preparation.
• Coordinate with TPA, insurance, corporate, and cash patient billing teams.
• Handle discharge billing, estimates, interim bills, final bills, and payment updates.
• Resolve billing queries, discrepancies, discounts, refunds, and patient escalations.
• Monitor pending bills, outstanding payments, and billing turnaround time.
• Ensure accuracy in billing entries, documentation, and financial records.
• Prepare daily MIS, collection reports, pending discharge reports, and billing summaries.
• Follow hospital billing policies, approval matrix, and compliance standards.
• Support smooth, transparent, and patient-friendly billing operations.
