Job Description

The Management Associate to Executive - Engineering will be responsible for supporting engineering maintenance, utility operations, equipment upkeep, breakdown handling, preventive maintenance, and compliance documentation for parenteral and OSD manufacturing areas. This requires Diploma, BE Instrumentation, or BE Electrical qualification with 2–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical plant engineering, equipment maintenance, safety, and GMP-compliant technical support.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment.
  • Support engineering services for parenteral, OSD, cleanroom, utility, and support areas.
  • Maintain HVAC, AHU, water systems, compressors, electrical panels, instruments, and production machines.
  • Attend technical complaints from manufacturing, QA, QC, warehouse, and utility departments.
  • Maintain equipment logs, maintenance checklists, calibration support records, and service documentation.
  • Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation-related engineering activities.
  • Coordinate with production, QA, safety, vendors, and senior engineering teams.
  • Monitor utility parameters, equipment performance, breakdown trends, and maintenance schedules.
  • Follow permit-to-work, lockout-tagout, PPE, electrical safety, and plant safety requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed without impacting GMP compliance or production quality.
  • Identify technical faults, leakage, abnormal vibration, or unsafe equipment conditions.
  • Support spare parts planning, tool management, and material requirement reporting.
  • Assist in audit readiness through accurate engineering documentation.
  • Report repeated failures, major breakdowns, or safety risks to seniors promptly.
  • Ensure reliable engineering support for smooth pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
