Medical Officer

The Medical Officer will be responsible for patient assessment, ward rounds, emergency response, clinical monitoring, consultant coordination, treatment support, and medical documentation at Shalby Hospitals, Indore. This requires MBBS qualification with 2–3 years of hospital-based clinical care experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend OPD, IPD, emergency, ward, ICU, and assigned clinical patients during duty hours.
• Take patient history, conduct examination, and support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Monitor patient vitals, investigation reports, treatment response, and clinical progress.
• Maintain case sheets, progress notes, prescriptions, discharge summaries, and handover records.
• Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, ICU, OT, and billing teams.
• Respond to emergency calls and escalate critical cases promptly.
• Review investigation reports and inform seniors about abnormal findings.
• Support admission, discharge, referral, and patient movement processes.
• Counsel patients and attendants under consultant guidance.
• Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Deliver safe, timely, and professional medical support.
