IT Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization’s information technology systems, infrastructure, and digital operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all IT services. The involves maintaining network systems, managing hardware and software resources, ensuring data security, supporting hospital/organizational software systems, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments for IT-related requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain overall IT infrastructure including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.
- Ensure smooth functioning of hospital/organization management systems (HIS, EMR, ERP, etc.).
- Monitor system performance and ensure minimum downtime of IT services.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data and systems.
- Provide technical support and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
- Manage user access control, system permissions, and data security protocols.
- Ensure regular backup of critical data and disaster recovery planning.
- Supervise installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and applications.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Train and support staff on IT systems and software usage.
