Senior Resident - Attending Consultant - Radiology

Senior Resident - Attending Consultant - Radiology is responsible for supporting diagnostic imaging services, interpreting radiology studies, coordinating imaging workflows, and providing clinical support for CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other radiology procedures. The requires MD or DNB Radiology qualification with 0 to 3 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of diagnostic imaging, radiology reporting, patient care, CT, and MRI.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support radiology reporting and diagnostic imaging services.
• Interpret CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, and related imaging studies.
• Coordinate with clinicians for imaging-based diagnosis and patient care.
• Supervise imaging procedures as per department protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection practices.
• Maintain accurate radiology reports and documentation.
• Support emergency and priority imaging requirements.
• Coordinate with radiographers, technicians, and nursing staff.
• Review imaging quality and request repeat imaging when necessary.
• Participate in clinical case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Ensure timely reporting of urgent or critical findings.
• Follow hospital radiology standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient imaging records.
• Support audit, quality, and departmental documentation.
• Deliver accurate, ethical, and patient-focused radiology services.
