Ward Nurse

Ward Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to admitted patients and ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during hospitalization. The involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, maintaining clinical documentation, and coordinating with doctors and healthcare teams for effective patient management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted in the ward.
• Monitor patient conditions regularly and report any changes to doctors promptly.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records, charts, and nursing documentation.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in coordination with healthcare teams.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient recovery and response to treatment.
• Ensure patient comfort, hygiene, nutrition, and overall well-being.
• Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety standards.
• Coordinate with laboratory, pharmacy, and diagnostic departments for patient care requirements.
• Handle medical emergencies and provide immediate nursing support when required.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies in the ward.
• Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and nursing handover processes.
• Attend ongoing training programs and stay updated with nursing best practices.
• Perform additional nursing and patient care responsibilities assigned by supervisors or management.
