Admission Manager

The Admission Manager will be responsible for managing patient admissions, coordinating with clinical and administrative teams, and ensuring efficient bed allocation and documentation processes. The requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to handle patient flow effectively in a healthcare environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the entire patient admission process.
• Ensure smooth and timely patient registration and admission procedures.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and departments for bed allocation.
• Monitor bed occupancy and optimize resource utilization.
• Handle patient and attendant queries related to admissions.
• Ensure proper documentation and verification of patient details.
• Coordinate with billing and TPA teams for admission clearance.
• Maintain accurate records of admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
• Supervise admission desk staff and monitor their performance.
• Handle emergency admissions and ensure quick processing.
• Coordinate inter-departmental communication for seamless operations.
• Monitor patient flow and reduce waiting time during admission.
• Ensure proper communication of admission procedures to patients.
• Prepare reports and MIS related to admission statistics.
• Resolve admission-related issues and escalations efficiently.
• Ensure a positive and professional patient experience at the entry point.
• Participate in quality improvement and accreditation processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by hospital management.
