Operations Supervisor

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily hospital operations, departmental coordination, staff follow-up, patient service support, and workflow efficiency. This requires strong communication, team coordination, problem-solving ability, and understanding of hospital operations. The candidate will coordinate with clinical, front office, billing, housekeeping, security, maintenance, and administrative teams to ensure smooth service delivery, timely issue resolution, and a positive patient experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operational activities across assigned hospital departments and service areas.
• Coordinate with front office, billing, nursing, housekeeping, security, maintenance, and clinical teams.
• Monitor patient flow, service turnaround time, departmental coordination, and operational discipline.
• Conduct regular rounds to check cleanliness, staff availability, patient support, and facility readiness.
• Handle patient and attendant queries, complaints, and service-related escalations professionally.
• Track admissions, discharges, transfers, investigations, and pending operational requirements.
• Ensure hospital policies, service standards, safety rules, and operational protocols are followed.
• Allocate tasks to support staff and follow up for timely completion.
• Identify workflow gaps, delays, and coordination issues and report them to management.
• Maintain operational reports, complaint logs, duty records, and daily activity summaries.
• Support emergency coordination by informing relevant departments and arranging required resources.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams for operational requirements.
• Monitor housekeeping, security, transport, and support service performance as assigned.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and hospital efficiency.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, professional communication, and patient-friendly service delivery.
