Job Description

Dedicated General Medicine – Registrar responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment support within hospital and clinical settings. Skilled in managing inpatient and outpatient cases, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and healthcare standards. Adept at supporting consultants in delivering quality patient care, maintaining accurate medical documentation, and participating in emergency management and continuous clinical improvement initiatives.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with general medical conditions and illnesses.
  • Conduct detailed patient assessments, clinical examinations, and medical history reviews.
  • Assist consultants in treatment planning, patient management, and clinical decision-making.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required under supervision.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, clinical documentation, and discharge summaries.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate clinical support when required.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory reports, and imaging results.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare measures.
  • Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and clinical review meetings.
  • Support infection control practices and healthcare quality initiatives.
  • Assist in clinical audits, research activities, and continuous medical education programs.
  • Supervise and guide junior medical staff, interns, and residents when required.
  • Stay updated with advancements in general medicine practices and evidence-based treatment protocols.
