Experienced Cataract Surgeon (Ophthalmologist) responsible for diagnosing and treating eye disorders with specialization in cataract evaluation and surgical management. Skilled in performing cataract surgeries, ocular examinations, patient assessment, and post-operative care. Adept at delivering high-quality vision care, managing surgical complications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, safety, and clinical excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage cataracts and other ophthalmic disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Perform cataract surgeries using standard and advanced surgical techniques.
• Evaluate patients pre-operatively and determine surgical suitability.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery and visual outcomes.
• Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans as required.
• Interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and ophthalmic examination findings.
• Manage surgical complications and provide emergency ophthalmic care when necessary.
• Educate patients regarding eye health, surgical procedures, and post-surgical care.
• Maintain accurate patient records, surgical notes, and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and clinical protocols.
• Coordinate with optometrists, OT staff, nurses, and healthcare teams.
• Participate in outreach programs, eye screening camps, and awareness initiatives.
• Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmic surgery and eye care technologies.
