Experienced Phaco and Refractive Surgeon - Ophthalmologist responsible for diagnosing and treating ocular disorders with specialization in phacoemulsification cataract surgery and refractive vision correction procedures. Skilled in advanced ophthalmic surgeries, patient evaluation, laser vision correction, and post-operative care. Adept at delivering precision-based eye care, improving visual outcomes, and ensuring patient safety through evidence-based clinical and surgical practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage cataract, refractive, and other ophthalmic conditions.
• Perform phacoemulsification cataract surgeries with intraocular lens implantation.
• Conduct refractive surgeries such as LASIK, PRK, SMILE, or related vision correction procedures.
• Evaluate patients through detailed ophthalmic examinations and diagnostic assessments.
• Determine patient suitability for cataract and refractive surgical procedures.
• Provide pre-operative counseling and post-operative patient care.
• Monitor surgical outcomes and manage post-surgical recovery and complications.
• Interpret imaging, corneal topography, refraction, and ophthalmic diagnostic findings.
• Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans as required.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and surgical protocols.
• Coordinate with optometrists, OT staff, nurses, and clinical teams for patient management.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, surgical notes, and treatment documentation.
• Participate in eye screening programs, awareness initiatives, and patient education activities.
• Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmic surgical technologies and treatment methods.
• Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical precision and patient satisfaction.
