Experienced Cornea Surgeon - Ophthalmologist responsible for diagnosing, treating, and surgically managing corneal diseases and anterior segment disorders. Skilled in corneal transplantation, refractive procedures, ocular surface management, and advanced ophthalmic surgeries. Adept at delivering specialized eye care, improving visual outcomes, managing complex corneal conditions, and ensuring patient safety through evidence-based clinical and surgical practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage corneal, ocular surface, and anterior segment disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic examinations and corneal evaluations.
• Perform corneal surgeries including keratoplasty and related surgical procedures.
• Manage conditions such as corneal ulcers, keratoconus, corneal dystrophies, and infections.
• Perform refractive and anterior segment procedures as per clinical requirements.
• Interpret corneal topography, pachymetry, slit lamp findings, and diagnostic imaging results.
• Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative care for corneal surgery patients.
• Monitor patient recovery and manage surgical complications effectively.
• Prescribe medications, contact lenses, and treatment plans for corneal disorders.
• Coordinate with optometrists, OT teams, technicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records, surgical notes, and clinical documentation.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and ophthalmic protocols.
• Educate patients regarding eye care, treatment options, and post-surgical care.
• Stay updated with advancements in corneal surgery techniques and ophthalmic technologies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence in ophthalmology services.
